Did this product code come with the DVD that Windows 7 was installed with?

Where did this copy of windows come from? Was it pre-installed on a major manufacturer computer, Pre-installed on a custom built computer you bought? If it is the Dell laptop in your computer specs that came with Win 7 preinstalled I would be contacting Dell about this. If it is custom built you bought from a local shop, these sometimes include an unauthorized copy of Win 7 which won't show up as a "Genuine" in which case I would be contacting the shop it was purchased from.
