Solved: Windows Explorer won't work after replacing file
I was trying to get a theme for windows 7. after i replaced the shellstyle.dll file, windows explorer stopped working.

Where did you get the "Hack" to do this?

it was #16

i usually just system restore when this happens but system restore is turned off for some reason. Is there any way to turn system restore on through the command prompt?

How did you fix this?

You should have a "Solved" button when you have any thread you started, just click it and the thread will be marked solved.

i just typed in sfc /scannow into the command prompt and it pretty much fixed itself
