Solved: acpi hotkey
when my system boots windows 7-64bit,a msg comes on screen:"cant open acpi atk0100 kernel hotkey driver".please help me.even my shortcut for bluetooth is not working i.e,fn+f5.

What is the make and model? It sounds like a notebook. It probably is a driver update. Have you checked you manufacturers web site?

its a laptop of lenovo SL400 thinkpad with nvidia graphic card,ram of 4GB and hard disk of 350 GB,core2duo processor.operating system installed is windows 7-64 bit.it comes as an error message :"CANT OPEN ACPI ATK0100 KERNEL MODE DRIVER", and has the only option to click ok.there is a series of four shortcut buttons:lenovo care ,increase volume , decrease volume and mute volume,pressing which the function should be performed.but its not at all working.

When looking up your model I see a great deal of updates including the bios this past June.
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/si...IGR-70413.html. There is also a system update feature on the site that automatically updates your computer.

you were right sir.there was some file missing .the problem was solved when i downloaded the latest version of hotkey.the missing file was also installed and now the error does not flash on rebooting.thank you.
