I have Windows 7, and Ubuntu Lucid both installed on my hard-drive. Recently the Internet on Windows has been going really slow, can barely load pages, such a big delay. Yet on Ubuntu, everything is fast and flawless, download speeds 500kpbs no hiccups. Can someone tell me what the problem is?

EDIT: I already tried this again.
Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog
Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log
This is on a fresh install of windows 7.

Are you running ubuntu as a guest in windows via some virtualization deal or are you rebooting into ubuntu?

My best guess is a driver issue. What is the brand and model of your networking adapter, and what driver is installed?

No Ubuntu is installed itself alongside of Windows. And the brand is Trend-net or something, i used the default driver which was included on the disk, ill un-install it and such and see if it fixes it.
