for the blue screening problem, that usualy means the HDD has become corrupted in some way, shape or form.
to fix that usualy requires a HDD format and then reinstalling WIN7.
cant seem to find where you turn off the auto-arrange feature on WIN7 at the minute
EDIT
after further digging have found out that the option to disable the "auto-arrange" feature has been removed.
Mircosoft don't want you to disable this.
aren't they helpfull :P
you can still disable this but it requires the editing of registries, which id recomend against doing, if you dont have a good knowledge of them.
