Reinstalling Windows7
I upgraded my Windows7 Home with Pro on my computer. Can I now use my Home disk and install it into another computer or will MS not accept the installation password a second time?

It won't hurt to try, but I believe the upgrade invalidates the key.

I'm not upgrading. I'm going to format the drive and install pro. I now have a disk with Home on it which is not presently on any computer although it was validated on my computer before. Can I get MS to validate the key on a new computer if it is not used on another?

OK, your terminology is a little incorrect but! I know what you are trying to do. Did this DVD come with the computer or did you purchase it? If it came with the system then it is for that system only and cannot be installed on another system. If you purchased Windows7 Home, and it is not being used on any other system, then the answer would be yes, you can.
