Wi-Fi USB Stick Driver has to be installed every boot?
using a Belkin F5D7050 v5 USB WiFi stick - has to be re-installed every boot, iam using win8 64-bit

ive tried running the installer in compat mode for vista/ win7

i have manually installed the .INF file ..even from older drivers, still no joy,

can anyone help?

when i reboot it says driver is unknown, not digitally signed etc (even though it is) - I have seen the drive in devmgr change from recognized to unrecognized without a reboot too

thanks

Get a driver that is designed for the OS. You can't expect drivers for another OS to work properly.

There are no drivers (like most hardware at moment) for Win8 - ive had no problems in windows 7 using a Vista 64 driver when forcing it

the driver works just fine . its the fact it wont be loaded after a reboot, seems like a problem in windows 8 to me

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
