You can uncheck those 2 startup entries.

Windows ME requires:

ScanRegistry
SystemTray
StateMgr
Antivirus program entries
Firewall program entries

to be checked. Most of the other startup entries, if not all, can be unchecked. What other startup entries does your computer have checked?

What is the processor type and speed?

How much RAM is installed?

How large is the hard drive and how much free space is there?
