Arrow Solved: Poll: Who uses Windows 95?
This is a poll to see how many people actively use Win.95.
Please post here if you use Windows 95.

Just some info: Windows 95 has been out for almost 13 years with 6 newer home/office Windows operating systems. (For more info click here)
(Optional Question) How long do you think you will continue to use Win.95?

Thank you for taking time to poll.

I use Windows 98SE. Way more reliable and more extensive hardware support. It recognizes my flash drives, external hard drives, everything.

I do!!

NTFS viruses and most new malware won't run on 95/98. I don't run AV software and have never gotten a virus in 13 years. The way I see it, if you only open attachments that is from someone you know and trust, you shouldn't have a problem.

I Do, however, run a firewall! (ZA), and Spybot/Ad-Aware SE.

Check out Lightspeed's 95 and 3.x page.

My First computer have Windows 95 and Linux I think. Sometimes I go there to remember old times.
In the past I thought that a virus was a disease that only affected humans.

Hello, Yeller Puma,
Thanks for the tip.
I happen to have also an old HP Vectra/ pentium 2. He is running on a windows 98SE-Plus and doing fine, although a little bit slow compared to my new PC.
I kept this Vectra because my HP ScanJet 4p can't be adapted to the new PC. No HP connection card available.
Have a nice day

At the time, it was the thing to have of course but it could be a battle to use it some days in all honesty its so outdated now when compared to XP .....it is however fondly remembered,I learned a lot from using it .............

Congrats on 1000 posts by the way, another 1000 and you will become distinguished
