my Hide protected operating system files (recommended) in folder options is missing.
is there any way to fix that? with regedit, maybe? my pc has just been recovered from a virus .

Open Notepad .. Copy and paste the Following Code into it and Save as "Find.bat" . Double Click on it to Run it .. A notepad will pop-up copy and paste everything here

Hmm ... It Might be a Policy Setting

Start > Run > regedit > Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explor er

on the Right Pane Delete "DontShowSuperHidden"

Do the Same for

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explo rer

Download the Attached File > Unzip it > Right Click on "Fix.reg" And Choose "Merge"
