Okay, I'm trying to think of this from a different perspective. The hardware that hasn't changed on my system during all this is the power supply, the video card, and the CD/DVD drive. If it is hardware related, what could cause my system to crap out on a cold boot instead of while the system is being stressed? If it's the video card, then why isn't my system hanging or crashing while playing a game? The same goes for the power supply?

I'm not sure how the drivers or software would fit into this, but I'm trying to think of this a different way.

Good idea, try unplugging your CD/DVD drive and see if the computer crashes. Since this is the hardware that isn't needed when you use the computer, try using the computer without CD/DVD drive plugged and without power.
I've had problems because of a bad IDE cable(attached to the CD drive), though instead of BSOD, it made my comp randomly freeze but see if it is caused by the CD/DVD drive since it shouldn't take too long to test.

Also try using "Event Viewer", (use your windows search and search for "Event Viewer"). See if it has any information that might help.

If you have a spare video card or know someone who can lend you their video card for testing, try it.

Same with power supply.

Thanks, I'll try unplugging the drive. I've checked all the cables, but I haven't tried unplugging it. I did find someone who will loan me a spare PCI-E card so that will be helpful, but I don't know anyone with a spare power supply. Hopefully I won't need to try a spare PSU.

Well, after much fiddling around with hardware and drivers I think I can safely come to the conclusion that the problem was miswired sound in the front panel. After unplugging the F_AUDIO connection, uninstalling and reinstalling the chipset, audio and video drivers I've experienced no issues. What a strange problem this was, and thanks to all for helping.
