Does that mean that, when you type a reply, the yen character is displayed?

Have you tried all of the steps in the links from #8 of this thread? If not, please do so.

Same problem for me..
I have the same problem and since it is on a computer I am fixing I don't know what the person did to cause this, I only know it's been like this for years..

I tried all the suggestions in this thread also with no success. I would love an answer to this odd problem.
