My PC is 5 years old.....I do not know much about disc space, memory, etc. I do know that I keep getting errors for Low Disk Space, but everything we download is to our D: drive. I deleted files that we do not use, the only thing left is things like Adobe, IE, system files, java and windows updates.

What do ineed to do, we can not even forawrd emails any longer - out of space intemp folder - but it is cleadned daily.

Can I buy something? Memory???

Any hewlp is greatly appreciated. I hve a ten age daughter who can't download her musice and she is really getting crabby about the enbtire thing (like it's my fault).

Thank you!

For windows XP,go to start/all programs accessories/system tools/disk cleanup.
Check all and run it.
Then go to start and right click my computer.
Click the system restore tab and check the box disable system restore on these drives.
Click OK and restart the computer.
Go back to system restore and uncheck the box and click OK.
Go to start/all programs/accessories/system tools/system restore
and create a new restore point.
Should free up some space.

Have you run disk cleanup off the Accessories/System tools menu?

Teenager? She needs to move off all of her songs. Buy her a USB memory stick [1gig or better] and have her move the files [not copy] to the stick.

You should also be concerned about spyware. A number of teenager sites are filled with spyware [I have a 19yr old daughter so I know]. Adaware from Lavasoft and spybot search and destroy are both free for download.
