In IE go to Tools on the menu, click Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab and put a tick next to the entry 'Disable script debugging'. Click OK.

FlashGet (download manager) is what bugs me the most. I have tried re-installing it. It happens with a few other programs.

Also try ticking 'Disable Scipt debugging (other)' in the same place.
