Uninstalling "Zultrax P2P"
I'm hoping that someone in this vast tech community has the answer I'm seeking.

I've tried, unsuccessfully, to uninstall "Zultrax P2P" using what ever means I can think of. I'm not a techie, but I've attempted using the obvious. I've gone to the Control Panel and opened the "Add/Remove Programs" file. Clicking the "Change/Remove" button does nothing. Attempting "System Restore" also does nothing. I've even tried using "Unlocker", a program being touted in PC World Magazine, this month. It's supposed to be the "be all and end all" for such a use. It works fine for anything else I've tried, but not for this. And, oh yes, my OS is Windows XP.

Has anyone got the answer to this?

My sincere thanks, in advance, if anyone can help.

Welcome to TSG....

First thing to do is backup all of the important data on your computer to another media like CD-R's, DVD, or other media that you prefer. This is just in case you have to do a clean install or something goes wrong with the nexst thing.

Download and install Microsoft cleanup installer utility and find the Zultrax P2P in it and tell it to remove it. It will rip it out of the computer....

Ozrom1e:

Sorry for the delay in responding. Been away.

I already had the suggested Windows Cleanup Installer Utility in my system. However, it didn't show
"Zultrax P2P". And now, I'm experiencing the same tenaciousness with "iMesh".

I'd really appreciate other suggestions. That is, if there are other ways to attack this problem.
