Hi

Windows XP is not starting properly. I always need to press the F8 key to then choose to start on safe mode. If I select a different option, it is not working.

My PC is also very slow.

If you have to start on safe mode, you probably have a driver issue that won't load when you turn it on. What does it do when you start without safe mode? What devices are hooked up to your computer?

Hi

If I start without the safe mode, nothing happens. I don't have any special devices hooked up to my PC. Everything is from the original PC except my DVD rom (from LG).

I have the screen, the mouse, the printer and the speakers that are hooked up to my PC. Nothing else.

A DVD Rom drive wouldn't do anything with your startup. Can you give me the brand, memory, model and all that stuff? That would help me with this because I have had this same problem with my brother's computer.
