I see over a dozen O4 entries that don't need to be automatically load during startup and run in the background. A bloated startup list will hinder overall performance and can cause various other problems.

Upgrade Grisoft AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5 to version 8.0. The install process of the new version will uninstall the old version first and then install the new version.

Update Sun Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.05 to version 1.6.0.10. Download and save the new version, uninstall the old version(and any other older versions), delete all leftover folders from inside the C:\Program Files\Java folder, then install the new version.

First of all, you are running HijackThis out of a temporary directory. I would suggest to un-install the present HijackThis program and remove all log files from your computer then Please download the HijackThis below which will extract into its own directory, or you wish please create a folder in My Documents and call it Hijack (or something similar). Then extract HijackThis into the folder you have created and run it from there. The reason for this is that HijackThis cannot create backup files whilst it is being run from a temporary folder.
When you have done this, then make sure all browsers and windows are closed except for HijackThis and please wait for a HijackThis expert to assist you in doing any repair work necessary, they are the people with the little Gold Shield next to their name.
Welcome to TSG....

To download HJTsetup.exe from TrendSecure To Download HijackThis go to the following at the File Repository
Click on the link below to Download HijackThis Self Installer:

http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...HJTInstall.exe

Save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\HijackThis.
Continue to click Next in the setup dialog boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialog.
Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialog box click Finish and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Click Save to save the log file and then the log will open in notepad.
At the top of the Notepad HJT log screen, hit Edit then Select All then click Edit and then click Copy doing that copies the text to the clipboard, you won't see it yet....
Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
A security expert with a gold shield to the right of their name should take a look at your log - please be patient.

Can you post an updated new HijackThis log here so we can see what it looks like now since you removed some of the startup entries?

Don't edit your HijackThis log. Post a new one. When you edit your old log, we have no way of comparing logs to see what changes were made. Fortunately, I posted it in my previous reply, so we still know what your original log looks like.

I no longer see an antivirus program running in the background in the O4 list. Most of the other O4 entries still listed don't need to be running in the background.
