Does it run? When do you get the message? Do you have a CD-ROM and/or floppy drive?

Do you have an XP installation CD?

Not a good sign, as you probably know. The only hope really is chkdsk.

Boot from the XP CD, press "R" on the setup screen for the Recovery Console, log in, and run chkdsk /r

Maybe it can recover it.

Yesterday i was able to log in after i went to System Recovery in my Windows Xp cd and type Fixboot and Fixmbr... and when i log in i went to cmd and type CHKDSK /f and it schedule for the next reboot... The CHKDSK happen but the problem wasnt fix now sometimes im able to login to Windows but none of the application run and now i cant even run cmd because it says there is no enough memory... I download the Hardrive diagnose tool and ran it at boot up and the Hardrive pass the test without a problem... I was thinking about plug in my Hardrive to my other computer see if i can atleast recover the files that were on it... Any other advice would be highly apreciatte thanks!

Check out memory.

MemScope (Floppy and CD images.)
Microsoft Memory Test (floppy or CD ISO image)
Memtest86

If you have enough memory sticks, you can test them by removing one at a time and see if the problem disappears.
