Strange XP hard drive issue
OK first of all hi
my first post on forums after just registering, have used the info on here more that once to help me out of a problem or two and its been a great source of help

i finally have a problem i cant find any help on

Simply my PC has been taking a while to boot, sometimes not posting on first try (seemed it may have been a PSU issue)
now though once it has booted into the welcome screen for windows its started taking a little while for my icons and desktop image to appear and on my task bar its showing that my three internal hard drives are showing as USB devices and i can 'safely remove them'
its got me stumped any help would be appreciated

thanks

Are they sata drives or ide drives?
Welcome to TSG and a suggestion I can make is when you post a question about hardware, if you state your hardware, you will have a much faster response and far fewer "fact finding" questions detracting from the possibility oif an answer.

There are some boards that in the past have shown sata drives as removable and for the lie of me I don't remember the reason or if there is a solution.
