Question Windows XP stopped recognizing USB flash drive
Recently, my Windows XP machine stopped recognizing my Corsair Flash Voyager drive.

When plugged into a USB port via a Dell monitor hub, it does not recognize it at all (unknown usb device).

When plugged directly into one of the front or rear usb ports, it mis-recognizes it as a "SM324BC memory bar" and says that it is not formatted.

Other machines have no problem accessing the flash drive.

I installed SP3 but it did not help.

Removing everything USB-related does not work as the keyboard and mouse are both USB and the system stops responding as soon as I try that.

Please advice!

Thank you,
Alex.
