Programs do not execute (XP SP2)
Since installing the Yamaha USB/Midi device, the system has periodically stopped executing new programs (inc task manager).
This is most obvious when developing in Delphi (where I can see the activation log) which stops when Xgusb.dll is loaded (part of the Yamaha software). Once this happens no other software will start - cursor goes briefly to hourglass and then back. I don;t know why Delphi is loading the dll, since I'm not developing usb or midi related software at the moment.
Only cure seems to be a reboot.
This MAY only happen when running from Delphi IDE (since I'm doing that all the time, I don't know if this is the only trigger).
Any suggestions (other than the obvious removal of the midi device, which would defeat the purpose of having it).
Thanks in advance
