I've been attempting to re-format my backup computer for some time now but everytime I format successfully there are still files left on the Hard drive in the same original folders that they were in before the format.

The reason I know that the format was successful is I use the same method with my main computer with no dramas and the only difference between the two is the back-up has a partitioned Hard Drive.

I've deleted the partition but still turn up with the same problem, format is successful but the files are still in their folders.

If theres anything I've missed out information wise I'd be happy to update with that information.
