My computer crashed last night, leading me to hold the off button for 10 seconds.
When i turned it back on, the computer went to the 'safe mode' menu screen. I selected normal start up and it got to the XP loading bar screen. The bar went past 4 times, then stopped and the computer restarted. I have tried every 'safe mode' option and normal mode and the last best known settings option and every time the computer just restarts.

There is no BSOD or code telling me the problem.
When i select the safe mode command prompt option, it restarts after several lines of code. the last one loads mup.sys
any ideas?

never mind i fixed it with a bit of searching, just ran chkdsk with xp installation disk.
