desktop icons
In my old computer (DELL) the text below the desktop icons was set in a small blue-colored field. This made it easy to read them regardless of what color the color of the desktop picture is.
I am trying to set my new computer (DELL Inspiron 530, WINDOWSXP) desktop icons to look the same; I called DELL, but they were unhelpful.
Please help!

Rosemarie, Just reverse the procedure at the link below. Usually many want to remove that colored box under the text.
