Lost Admin Password
My daughter mader herself Admin of the PC at her grandma's. She made the password so good that even SHE couldn't remember it! Now no one can get into the PC as admin. We would like to reinstall windows XP but we can't because the operating diskettes we have are older than the updates that have been automated on the machine by microsoft. Can anyone help me decode the admin password or override it? Or help me find a way to reinstall windows xp ?

THANKS!

Hi,
I think you need to read the forum rules-
"Please do not ask for assistance with forgotten passwords and/or bypassing them. As there is no way to verify the actual situation and/or intentions, no assistance will be provided and any such threads will be closed".

Closing thread as we do not support assisting with forgotten passwords.

If you indeed have an install CD, it shouldn't matter what updates are on the computer.
