Unhappy Missing "Look in Desktop"
I hid the "My Computer" and "My Network Places' so that it won't appear in the desktop.
I also was tinkering with indexing service of Windows XP SP2.
I right-clicked on my hard disk and UN-checked the "allow indexing service" and then I pressed Apply.
A progress bar started saying "changing attributes" but I cancelled it coz it's a lot of file, but I knew some files already had their attributes changed before I cancelled.

Now here's the problem. Everything seems okay but the next day when I started searching for files, the Desktop icon is missing. No, not the desktop icon in the taskbar. The one that is missing is inside the SEARCH:

When I click Start-Search-All Files and Folders- Look In- (drop down menu)

everything was there, "My Documents", "My Music', "My Videos", Local Hard drives and CDs but "DESKTOP" is NOT there. It always was there coz we save all our files in a folder in the desktop. Of course the files are OKAY because we can see it in the desktop when we minimize all windows. This is puzzling me because whenever we search, the "desktop icon" is not in the choices to SEARCH. Please help
