Hey.. i would do that.. but then, i want it all to work on my account... i don't want to change my whole account. Another I would like to know is that if the problem is with my user name or something like that (the issue with the # and the two # symbols) is there a way i can change my whole name and make it something new and easy to understand and which can be understood by all programs?

This is part of troubleshooting. Sometimes a profile gets corrupted, and the only way to fix it is to create a new account. It's not fun but is sometimes necessary.

I have no idea why you have an account with symbols in the name. You could try to rename the account. Back up your data before making any changes.

Hey! Yeah.. that is what i was asking.. how do you rename an account FULLY? I am asking this because i already renamed my account by changing the name from control panel/user accounts. The name is changed but the name in c:/doucments and settings is still the ## one. I want to change that too and want the computer to recognize that that is my account.
