passwords
I have no idea if this is even the right area to post this seeing as how I'm pretty new to technology, but...

Is it possible to password protect specific folders or files on xp?
I understand that you can just make it so you dont share a specific folder and from my undertanding that means that you can only access the particular folder if you log into the account. Is it possible to give each folder a specific password though?

Hi mude and welcome to TSG,
There is a built-in feature with XP that allows you to do that. I hope this link is of help:

For maximum privacy you can use this free, highly regarded and user-friendly prog 'TrueCrypt'

Richard.
