Making a B&W image with MS Paint in Windows XP
When I had Windows 98, I could open a color picture in MS Paint, the go to IMAGE>ATTRIBUTES>BLACK AND WHITE and it would convert the image to a black and white drawing. Now when I try to do this with Windows XP, it just makes a black box or garbled image. Why can't I use this method with Windows XP and is there a solution for it?

You can still make a black and white image using paint, I do it frequently. IMAGE - ATTRIBUTES - BLACK AND WHITE My images are clear, no garbled images or black boxes. Perhaps, you should check some other settings.
