Hmm, I decided to disable RAID in my BIOS, but now every time the system starts to boot it says," Error Loading Operating System," so what is that supposed to mean?

I have decided I don't need that old crappy 70gb hd and took it out. I thought maybe if I got that out of the way that would delete any HD problems.

Taking out the old HD caused the old error to go away and Windows is loading fine now. Problem Solved.

RAID isn't a file. It's a disk configuration. To use RAID in a mirroring setup, you'd be spreading a copy of all the data on the 70GB drive to the 320GB drive. The computer sees both drives as one. I don't think you could then create yet another separate partition on the 320GB drive to use for data above the 70GB used for the RAID array. That sounds like a lot of disk thrashing to me which would lead to even poorer performance.

Umm, you can see I fixed the problem right? I took out my old crappy HD and disabled RAID also. My PC is running fine now.
