how to unistall windows xp
hi there i had a virus on my computer & every thing ended up getting wiped off my comp i then had to reinstall windows xp but now have it on my comp three times could you please help me removing two of the operating systems so i only have the one that i use on my comp regards rhino

How did you install the other operating systems?
Are all of them on different partitions or the same?
Do you only have a single WINDOWS directory?

(For some reason I am thinking your boot.ini file is the problem here. I cannot be sure though)

I'm guessing at this point that you've installed XP 3 times in the same C partition in 3 different WINDOWS directories. You need to install it in C:\WINDOWS and nowhere else.

Boot from the XP CD, delete the primary C partition, create a new C partition, format the partition with the NTFS file system, then install XP.

yeah the best bet would be to reformat and reinstall just one new installation.
