i need help ASAP PLEEEASSEE!
I was moving all my pictures on to a CD (moving, not copying), and I got an error msg saying there was a problem moving the folder. I hit cancel, and now the images are not in the folder and not on the cd/d drive....where did they go? This was a photo shoot I just did and I was putting them on a cd for her. she needs them for an audition. HELP!!!!!!!

First try pasting (if you still have it in the clipboard) to HDD
Refresh the source and check if they are there... Or else restart once and check..

these could be stored in a temp directory on your computer.
best idea for the moment if you know any of the file names is run a search on your hard drives for the filename.

You wont get those back I suspect. Same happend to me once when I was cutting and pasting between 2 HDDs.

I'm not suprised system restore did nothing because it will only affect system files, not personal stuff like pictures.

But move deletes the file(s). You may have cancelled but they were already deleted and stored in memory for transfer. Move also doesn't act like delete and the files don't go to the recycle bin.

Good thing to know for the next time.
