Very Strange problems
In the past couple of weeks my computer has had the following problems:-
1. Opening a progam can take up to a minute.
2. I used to be able to click on a web address sent by email or on a website and the site would open. Now I need to copy and paste to a browser.
3. I recieve a few online newspapers. I used to click on the headlines and get the full story. Now it doesn't happen.

I have taken all the obvious steps like defragment, disc clean, anti virus scan, Spybot, and Ad-Aware without result.

Hopefully someone can help.

Very many thanks for your prompt reply. I did the check under Resolution and got these replies to two of them.

Mshtml.dll was loaded but the Dll Register Server entry point ws not found
This file cannot be registered.
Local Library (Cleaut) failed - the specified module could not be found.

As an 87 year old with a non technical mind I have no idea how to re-register the dll files.
