Drivers!!
Okay so my computer has gone slow ever since I restarted, before I restarted I had installed the s3 driver and defragged my computer..
Ever since I restarted it's just been really whack and slow, my computer has never been like this and I know that for sure.

I need a lot of drivers updated and just drivers I am guessing so help out please? I had to reinstall XP and now it's slow after defragging and installing s3 driver, I don't know what caused it though.

I would GUESS the s3 graphic card driver of course but it's the most updated so I can't see why it would make my computer slow..

Here are drivers I need but for some reason can't DL..

Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC - Outdated.
Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller - Don't have and I'm having trouble getting it!
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers - Don't have and same as above.

Are there any programs I can use that can give me my computer's data so I can give to you guys?

I really want my computer running fast again WITHOUT having to re-install windows. =/

If you've just formatted and reinstalled , which I think is what you are trying to say , then it doesnt matter how updated your gfx card was . All that data is gone . You need to run the software CD that would have come with your motherboard or PC if it was shop-bought . If the gfx card you refer to is not the onboard card but something you added later then you'd also need to run the CD that came with that or download and instal the latest driver from the manufacturer's website .

Er you don't understand.
Yes I formatted and re-installed my windows XP professional.
After that I installed my graphic card's driver so I HAVE the driver, and RIGHT AFTER installed the driver WITHOUT restarting I defragged my disk to free some physical memory or w.e
After doing those 2 things I restarted and my computer was running well before that.

I mean I had a outdated graphic driver installed of the same manufacture then I found the updated one and then I updated that and defragged my disk, ever since doing those 2 things my computer has been kinda slow.

Got the picture now . First off , ease up on defragging as you're only putting undue stress on your HD . If you cant roll back the driver (i.e. you havent had it installed since the last format) then Google is your friend . If you can roll back then should be ok .

PC Wizard http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

That'll identify your hardware . Just make sure you get the driver(s) appropriate to your OS ....
