Email server help
Hello, I was wondering if any one can help me. I have been searching on how to do this for days and I could not find anything.

I have a DNS, Email server and domain controler. I am able to send emails with that account i made with the email server. But I can not receive emails. I am useing Godaddy.com to just host my domain name. www.pharaohservers.com I was wondering if some one could help me. I have remote desktop so some one could come in and fix it or just tell me how to do it.

I am allso running threw a router. I have the ip address of my server port fwd to port 25 and 110 and 80

Thanks for your time

I do not know how to help this situation, however is you don't have help in a few more hours (everyone here is a volunteer and it can take some time). Type in BUMP.
That will move your posting up in the que.

your MX record points to smtp.pharaohservers.com which resolves to IP 0.0.0.0

on godaddy, create an A record for smtp.pharaohservers.com to your external IP address then it should work.

If port 25 is blocked you will have nothing but problems. If you upgrade to a static IP they will unblock port 25. Is this for business or personal use?

I am starting up a business for dedicated server rental. I really cant afford to do it untill some one rents one out. But as soon as that happens I can give them a static ip for its own server and business internet with all ports open.

You'd prolly save money by leasing a block of 8 IP's at a time rather then add one here and there. Not only that but they will be consistent numbers. If I was you, I'd host email off site until you can get those IP's so you don't do crazy configs to get around port 25 just to revert them again in the future.

Yea I know what you mean. But I hate being limited by some thing. I all ways try to find away around some thing if it is blocked. I think the internet should be free so I try to get around stuff to do that. But did you know of a way to just use port 589. I herd that is the optional port to port 25. But would other servers like gmail be-able to talk to it to send email?

If you're trying to sell dedicated servers using an ISP that blocks ports, neither you, your customers or the ISP will be very happy with that.
