Solved: Exhcnge 2003 AD: Dispaly Name and Alias not the same
I recently renamed a user accoun in the AD:
PTO renamed to PTO2

Before the rename, PTO had a display name of PTO and the alias was PTO
Example: PTO <PTO> as it appears in the "To" section

Now it appears as: PTO <PTO2> The 2 profiles got crossed and I've already corrected the alias and display name in the AD. What am I missing?

It's the same problem with PTO2 - PTO2's alias is showing up as PTO

Here's what I've done so far to try and fix it:

1. Checked the display name - all correct
2. Checked the alias name - it was incorrect but, it's still resolving to the wrong name
3. Rebuild OAB
4. Update OAB on the client
