Hello,

I have a strange problem. When I start my laptop everything goes normal, but as soon as it actually gets into explorer my screen turns black. I can also hear the standard Windows sound that I am in explorer. So I think everything is fine, but I just cannot see anything!

As soon as I do a system restore everything is fine again. The only problem is... after a while it turns back of course. I then do another system restore and find myself in a vicious circle...

Also when I start it in safe mode everything is fine (meaning I can actually see things). I think somehow it automatically puts my screen to monitor or something (I don't have it connected to anything though). I tried putting it back with the Intel hotkeys to try if it's this but no result.

Quite annoying to try to fix something when you can't see anything! :-)

I have a HP6730b with Windows Vista (64b).
