All good news.
Good to see Richard Digance still doing his thing.

After you have posted the new Hjt log - don't forget to turn UAC back on, in Control Panel

I never turn UAC on.

Yes Richard is still brilliant.

If you are up in Lincolnshire and we have a concert on, email me or call me and you can have a2 free tickets.

Hoping to have Martin Simpson next year and Richard Digance

The laptop was my daughters, so had it on. Never had a problem on my own PC by leaving it turned off.

These are causing no harm but can be removed.
Close all browsers that you may be using.

Start Hjt log - click Scan.
Once the page has opened - put a Tick mark against these entries and click Fix.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = Preserve

Close Hjt log.
Restart your Pc.

Then I think we are done - clean out Temp files, which you know doubt already do.

Fingers crossed.

Do not make any changes using the Hjt log - each Pc will show different results.
And a mistake may mean the Pc will no longer boot to the desktop.
If I see something strange, I ask for one of our Malware experts to take a look.

If you need help with the other 4 Pc's, let us know.
