Hi - My desktop computer - Acer Aspire - Windows Vista crashed during factory restore whilst installing windows so I had to pull the plug on it. - Its had problems with crashing for a while but never thought it would do this!! - Now when I try to restart it it gives me a persistent message that windows failed to install and I should restart and try again. - I have tried this at least half a dozen times and it still gives me the same message. I have tried safe mode but it says you cannot install windows in safe mode, please restart and try again. I have tried doing another factory restore but as windows is not installed, it does not have this option. I have found the back up discs from 2008/2009 but it will not boot from these. It just gives me the same message again.

Any help?? - Please, please please? :'(

Use the Windows Vista DVD?
First save the most important files.
Then format your destination partition for the new installation.
Then install it using your DVD

Thanks, I tried that already and it didn't work just kept giving me the same message.
