desktop icons
I have lost the desktop icons and can not get them back to the desk top. I have already tried several things and nothing will work.

Right click your desktop, choose Arrange Icons By...make certain there is a checkmark next to Show Desktop Icons.

If that doesn't work try right-clicking on the Taskbar at the bottom of your screen, choose Show the Desktop.

If that doesn't work right-click the Taskbar again, choose Toolbars...and choose Quicklaunch. Then click Show Desktop on the Quicklaunch toobar.

If that doesn't work right-click on the Taskbar again, choose Toolbars...Desktop. Click on the Desktop Toobar so that you can get at whatever was on your desktop before everything disappeared.
