Which version of Digimax Master . . do you have?

"Has stopped working". Does that mean it worked at 1 time? If yes, when did it stop working? What was installed / was uninstalled / changed?

Digimax Problems
To tell you the truth I'm not sure which version it is because after installing the camera drivers, USB drivers, and software that came with this Samsung camera, it never would open completely to see which version it was. Everything showed installed properly but just no Digimax when trying to open program, windows says it has stopped working and is looking for a solution. Now I'm looking for a solution. Thanks to all.

start > accessories > run
type: eventvwr.exe
Maximize the screen.
On the left, left click on "applications".
Look for errors on the right.
RIGHT click on an error.
Left click "properties".
Please report the event ID, source & description for any error that occured at the time you try to open Digimax.

From what source did you install Digimax? If a commercial CD, presumably there is something about the version on the disk or disk liner. If from a download, check the source of the download.

You could use Windows Explorer to look in the "program files" folder, or perhaps the sub folder "common files" for Digimax,
find the program,
RIGHT click on the program,
left click "properties",
Left click "version" tab.

Check with Samsung [ their tech support portion of the website ]. They might have a manual, FAQ, or download for Digimax.

Same problem...
I am having the exact same problem under Windows Vista. When I went to the website for the product, there seems to be no patch available and the only option for vista appears to be to buy the new version. If you come up with a solution could you e-mail me at teamleader@businesshost.ca?

Unhappy NV3 samsung camera with mp3 player Digimax Master won’t work
I have just purchased an NV3 samsung camera with mp3 player.

I am using Windows Vista and the Digimax Master won’t work.

Can you advise on how I can convert files from wma to mp3 and play successfully on my Samsung device.

I have tried a free download converted but the mp3 file still can’t be seen on the camera even though the file appears to be on the card when view through windows explorer file menu on my PC

Any help will be much apprieciated

Still no help
I have not pursued a solution to this. Waiting out Windows vista or something accessible and useful from Samsung.

Working Digimax Master version for Vista
Hi Everyone,

I had the same problem, but I found a website that provides a working version of Digimax Master for Windows Vista:

http://www.camtech.nl/Vista/Master.zip (66.7 MegaBites)

Good luck!

emajane-mp3
Plug in your camera.
Navigate to the memory card
Make a folder "MP3" (without the quote marks)
copy your mp3 files into it.
disconnect camera from computer
turn on camera
turn selector to MP3
You should now be able to open your mp3 files.
