Un-asked-for virtual drive, and "Sync Center running in Vista Business After installing several programs, including Vegas v7.0d and its Media Manager, on Windows Vista Business, suddenly
I noticed Vista's icon for Sync Center running by the taskbar clock, and a virtual drive also appeared in My Computer labeled CD Drive. The info in this virtual drive's properties show that its ID is the same as my C drive, on which my operating system is on. However, if you open it there is nothing there.
On opening the Sync Center from a right click on the icon, it shows the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 running. Beneath that it shows Sync Setup and a folder within it is labeled Offline files, Network files available offline, as seen in the images below.
I uninstalled all the programs, including Vegas, but the virtual CD Drive and the Sync Center icon are still there.
My system is running OK, but, I didn't ask for those things. Can you please tell me how I can get rid of them?
Thanks
