Solved: Thought this question would be easy to answer...help!
I purchased a new computer recentley that is more than capable of running Vista. As part of the purchase (dell) I am able to request a free upgrade to windows vista as long as you have requested it before a deadline of 31 March. I have done this and am awaiting the DVD upgrade package.

I simply want to know, but cannot find the answer anywhere, whether when I have the vista upgrade DVD package, can i choose to install it at anytime, i.e 12 or 18 months from now or will it become unusable after a period of time. I have asked Dell and am still awaiting an answer. Would appreciate soem direction

many thanks

Once you have it, you can install/re-install it at any time.
