Urgent Help Needed!!
I am currently in a house on the other side of the country to where I live and I have been tasked by the relatives to fix a Vista Basic PC - There are no recovery disks and unfortunately upon start-up the bloody thing says the Bootmanager is missing or corrupt. Any body help?

Thanks in advance.

I would expect it to have a recovery partition, usually accessed with one of the F keys at boot. What make/model is the PC?

Try selecting F8 when starting the PC. Then get into the Vista System Tools. Try repairing startup errors. If this does not work, try doing a system restore.
