Vista 100% of processor
I am having an issue in which I try to run anything it runs my processor at 100% and does not hardly pull any of my RAM resources. I am not sure if I need to purchase some additional hardware to help this problem. Recently purchased the video and tv card and that increased my video rating from 1.0 to 2.9 but when I try to use Media center I can not change the channel because the processor is maxed and the sound and video skip. I just need help to get full use of the operating system.

Here are my system specs with a base rating of a 2.9

Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 3.20GHz 2.9
Memory (RAM) 1.50 GB 4.2
Graphics ATI Radeon 9600 / X1050 Series 2.9
Gaming graphics 767 MB Total available graphics memory 3.9
Primary hard disk 210GB Free (233GB Total) 5.5
Windows Vista (TM) Ultimate

Might try Start/Run...MSCONFIG. Unclick some of the services and programs running at startup and reboot. You can run MSCONFIG again and simply remove the checks to get back to where you were. Often problems can be narrowed down to a specific program or service through that method.
