Smile Solved: rc1 to vhp??
I am running rc1 Ultimate and want to upgrade to home premium. My question is, can I do a hp upgrade and still keep all my settings and drivers or would I have to start over?
Thanks.

You should be able too, however, just in case, back up all important data.

Thanks for the reply, s4baz. I was concerned because of the time limit and whether it would have an effect on whether rc1 could be upgraded. It doesn't really matter, I guess. I really like vista and if I can't upgrade then will just do clean install and install my backup's. Thanks again.

Not so you will need clean install:

I had read this page before which made me wonder if upgrading was even possible. The wording; 'you may not be able to upgrade' is somewhat ambiguous, but no matter, like I said before, I really like vista and will just do a clean in stall after backup. I have no bugs or problems with compatibility (finally), so will go head with the clean install and update it. Thanks for all the help.........Alegro.
