In what order are you suppose to configure Vista? Once installing Vista OS where do you go from there? Check the Device Manager and make sure you have no exclamation signs and then where? Are you to then began installing your software or go and get all your Microsoft critical updates?

After clearing up the drivers, get Windows up to date, get graphics drivers specific for your card from the manafacturers website then go for whatever Antivirus & Anti-spyware. After that, just carry on as normal installing everything else.
