Question Solved: HJSPLIT and Vista
I got a new computer with Vista a few weeks ago. Until yesterday I used hjsplit on it with no problems. STarting yesterday when I try to open hjsplit windows tells me that hjsplit.exe has stopped working...I called Dell support and they had no idea what to do....??? Anyone have any ideas? Staman

You could also try setting it to run as Administrator.

I think there is a Beta out for the program which is specific to Vista.

Can you help me? What do you mean that there is a Beta out for the program that is specific to Vista. I'm referring to the use of hjsplit on Vista....stamman

After a week, i found a solution. I removed hjsplit from the computer and then reinstalled it. It has started working again.....thanks everyone....Stamman

Pretty sure its a tool that splits and joins files into multiple parts for
the purpose of uploading and downloading in more managable chunks.
