Help with Vista Problems
Hi, I have just got Vista and is perfect and fast, but there are a few problems and in my calculations I do not think that Vista won't have many problems for probably another 6 months or so, so to the problems, I will list a few problems below, if you know of any others then tell me and I will help you with your problems also.

Vista Problems:

- Security is Mental, installing one thing can set off a whole security check which is annoying

- A bit dodgy in most ways

- Not all games compatable

- Hard to get old games to work without emulator

- New Vista Pc's likely to overheat someties

- Not many things will work before the updates start flowing in

- Some old devices may not work yet

I will add more as I learn about more myself and from other people, post the question on here, and send me private message just incase im on another forum.

Wizkid07, by doing this you defeat the whole purpose of a public forum which is free tech support for the good of all.
First of all you need to give us a clue to the hardware on your system.
You do realize there is compatibility mode on your Vista which you can try for games that do not work, but my guess is they won't anyway and that is a good thing to keep OS clean and pure of corruption which old programs bring on.
define "dodgy"?
There is nothing about Vista that in itself causes overheating, but of course it is a bigger OS than XP for sure and therefore has greater requirements to run.
What old devices aren't working and have you tried to use XP drivers without" autorun"?

I also had some problems with my vista, but lately I found a great tech support site that helped me fix most of the stuff, Here is the page for Vista Problems page:

Hope it helps

Good luck

Vista Keyboard/Mouse problem
Despite having a Microsoft Opical Keyboard and Mouse for Vista, every time I switch my computer on I am told that Windows is searching for a driver. The Keyboard and Mouse are working perfectly well, and if I follow their suggested link to the driver, it tells me the drivers are already installed!
It's driving me crazy - please help!
