Hi.

Just upgraded to Vista Home Pro. on my machine. Should I, ( can I )

Yes and Yes. I think the fine print says the latter is not strictly legal, but protect your investment. (Maybe OK for Private use anyway - I,m not so bright at reading legal jargon!)

I don't think much will be said about a backup of the Vista disk, as long as it's not used to let a friend install a pirate copy of Vista. After all, I have multiple image backups of my working installation of all versions of Windows, it would be stupid not to have them. I also have several copies of various Windows installation disks.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I only want a backup in case something happens to the original.
I live in a hot humid climate and have lost countless floppy's, Zip's and even
a couple of cameras to mold over the years.

My Laptop came with NTI CD&DVD Maker 7. Would
this program be suitable, and would I use the simple Backup
option. (there are 6 options for copying discs, data, music, etc.).

Thanks again.

Natty.
